Exploration of Very High Energy gamma-ray sources in the optical wavelength band
The H.E.S.S. experiment is an array of five Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes situates in Göllschau, Namibia. It detects photons with energies above 30GeV by observing Cherenkov light, using Earth's
atmosphere as gamma-ray detector. This work aims to examine the correlation between gamma-ray and optical flux of astronomical sources by using the Automatic Telescope for Optical Monitoring which is
operated as part of the H.E.S.S. experiment.
